Adults initially take two tablets. Another one to two tablets may be taken every 8 hours as necessary. No more than 8 tablets should be taken in any 24-hour period.
Adolescents 14 – 17 years: initially take one to two tablets then one tablet every 8 hours as necessary.
Adolescents undiver City Council – Sheffield, Sion – Kent, Wod: age 14 – 17: initially take one tablet each day then one tablet each day for the next 10 – 15 days.

Use only where/for the fastest pain relief. When does it take effect?
Take one to two tablets every 8 hours as necessary.
Do not use with other pain tablets or local pain tablets.
Do not use Voltaren Rapid 25 tablets if you have ever had an allergic reaction to diclofenac, any other medications, or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use Voltaren Rapid 25 tablets if the: age 14 – 17::
Talk to your pharmacist before taking this medicine if you: not have a medical emergency, have a severe reaction to other medicines, or experience any symptoms such as rash, severe sun sensitivity, severe heart problems, or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat

Experience pain with other medicines. Avoid interactions with other medicines that you use.
Interactions with Food and Other Organ classes of products, e.g. medicine for migraine, certain heart problems, high blood pressure, schizophrenia, cytochrome P450 (liver), immunosuppressant, alpha-blockers, anti-platelet, blood thinner, lipid, anticoagulant, seizure medications, migraine drugs, penicillin, anti-inflammatory, pain relievers, calcium, antacids, and oral contraceptives.
Contains lactose. Not for use in pediatric patients.

I have had to stop Voltaren for a headache and it is painful. I have to have an I. V. injection every day. The only way I could stop it was to use a suppository. I had to get an I. injection every day to keep it from running and the pain and swelling was so bad I needed a pill and a whole year of relief. I had to stop the medication because I was so tired after two days and the pain was so bad I didn’t even get my period in until next morning. I don’t want to go back to the day when I had to get my period again. I would have to see a doctor but I would have to be on the waiting list.
I was prescribed Voltaren, and the only other thing I could think of is to try it for a few days. I thought that maybe it could be used for some time after getting the I. injection, but that was before I went on my last dose of the suppository, which was about 12 months ago. I was concerned that it would make my period worse but I couldn’t see any difference. After taking it for a couple of days it was working but I’m worried that I’m having a heart attack or stroke because I can’t use Voltaren. So I was going to try it for a couple of days but I’d rather not go back to the day that I was prescribed the I. injection because I am more tired and have to deal with the pain. I’m afraid I’d have to go on the long term plan to get my period back if I was to have surgery on my shoulder. I’m going to need a lower dose of this medication. It would be really helpful to have some blood tests done before I take it and I’ll try that first.

It’s always best to talk to your doctor if there is anything else I can do to help me. My family has had multiple strokes and a stroke that didn’t stop them. They were all in a very bad way.
